Korana is a river most often associated by Plitvice lakes. It runs through a beautiful Lika landscape, and one can barely keep from marveling upon it’s many waterfalls, fresh air and clean, inviting water. We’ve picked a great spot for a picnic – on a doorstep of Rastoke village, which we will explore. Afterwards, we will settle on the bank of the river and prepare some kotlovina out in the open. After a good lunch we will grab a paintbrush, a glass of good wine, chilled in the river, and start creating your very own souvenir.

THINGS YOU WILL LEARN:

  • Why do we call Rastoke “Plitvice’s little sister”
  • How cold is Korana river and can you swim in it
  • Can you master the art of making kotlovina
  • How many shades of green does it take to paint the Korana’s landscape
  • …and much, much more
